Job Description
Department: Corporate Services and Facilities
Salary: £43,151-£46,387 plus Recruitment and Retention Allowance of £2,500 per annum.
This is a full-time position for 37 hours per week, open to flexible, compressed, and part-time working patterns with a minimum coverage of 30 hours, Monday to Friday. You will be part of an on-call rota typically for a week every six weeks, for which you will receive an on-call allowance.

You’ll use your knowledge of building services to maintain and enhance an expanding estate with diverse facilities, services, and utilities across multiple buildings. The campus includes manufacturing workshops, engineering laboratories, screened rooms, clean rooms, server rooms, and offices. The buildings range from newly constructed to around 50 years old, with varying infrastructure.
You will work in a fast-paced environment, interacting with a wide range of users and suppliers, managing projects from delivering new facilities to statutory compliance work. Responsibilities include project managing system replacements, reactive repairs, diagnosing issues with building systems, and ensuring safety and compliance.
