Job summary

Nuffield Health in Edinburgh is seeking a Building Services Engineer to cover sites across the city. You will maintain swimming pools, mechanical plant, air conditioning, heating and ventilation, and ensure building compliance.

The role requires an electrical qualification (17th edition or equivalent), experience with Building Management Systems and hands-on maintenance across a large facility, with opportunity to grow within the organisation.

Qualifications

• Electrical qualification (17th edition) and Building Management Systems knowledge.
• Experience with emergency lighting testing, PAT, water hygiene and compliance.
• Willingness to travel across Edinburgh sites and work across multiple facilities.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the site, alongside the onsite engineer - from the building shell to surrounding grounds
• Maintain everything from swimming pools to mechanical plant, air conditioning, heating and ventilation
• Ensure all queries and issues are dealt with securely and effectively, using an electronic CAFM system
• Inspire the team to strive for constant improvement, leading by example
• Use hands-on experience and technical skills to operate an effective preventative maintenance programme
• Improve skills of others to help build the strongest possible team around you

As a Building Services Engineer covering our Nuffield sites across Edinburgh, you'll hold an electrical qualification (to 17th edition or equivalent) and a good knowledge of Building Management systems. You also have experience of emergency lighting testing, PAT, water hygiene and other compliance areas in a large industrial unit.
