Job summary

Nuffield Health is seeking a Building Services Engineer to maintain our Edinburgh sites, including Fountain Park and surrounding facilities. You will manage electrical systems, building management software and compliance tasks to keep pools, mechanical plant, air conditioning, heating and ventilation running safely and efficiently.

You’ll work with the on-site engineer, lead a hands-on preventative maintenance programme and drive continuous improvement through practical leadership, sharing

Qualifications

• Electrical qualification to 17th edition (or equivalent).
• Good knowledge of Building Management Systems.
• Experience with emergency lighting testing, PAT, water hygiene and other compliance areas in a large industrial unit.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the site, alongside the onsite engineer – from the building shell to surrounding grounds
• Maintain swimming pools, mechanical plant, air conditioning, heating and ventilation
• Ensure queries and issues are dealt with securely and effectively, using an electronic CAFM system
• Inspire the team to stride for constant improvement, thanks to the way you lead by example
• Use your hands‑on experience and technical skills to operate an effective preventative maintenance programme
• Improve your own skills and those of others to help build the strongest possible team around you

As a Building Services Engineer covering our Nuffield sites across Edinburgh, you’ll hold an electrical qualification (to 17th edition or equivalent) and a good knowledge of Building Management systems.

As a Building Services Engineer, you will:
