Job Description
Department: Corporate Services and Facilities
Salary: £43,151 - £46,387 plus Recruitment and Retention Allowance of £2,500 per annum.
This is a full-time position for 37 hours per week, open to flexible, compressed, and part-time working patterns with a minimum coverage of 30 hours Monday to Friday. You will be part of an on-call rota, typically for a week every six weeks, for which you will receive an on-call allowance.

You’ll use your knowledge and experience of building services to maintain and enhance an expanding estate with diverse facilities, services, and utilities across multiple buildings, including manufacturing workshops, laboratories, server rooms, and offices. The campus features buildings of various ages and infrastructures.
You’ll work in a dynamic environment, interacting with a wide range of users and suppliers, managing projects from complex new facilities to statutory compliance work.
Your responsibilities will include project managing system replacements, reactive repairs, diagnosing and fixing building system issues, and ensuring safety and compliance. You will join a supportive team that encourages professional development, including externally recognized courses and in-house training.
