Ready to join a team that's transforming the construction industry? We're not just building structures — we're building a legacy. We are searching for a driven, detail-savvy, and collaborative Building Services Coordinator to help us excel in project delivery!

The Role:

As our new Building Services Engineer, you'll be at the core of our operations, supporting the delivery of high-quality HVAC and building services across major commercial projects. Working alongside the Services Manager, you'll coordinate fire, electrical, and mechanical systems to ensure buildings operate flawlessly.

This role covers our key regions: Christchurch, Otago, Southern Lakes, and Auckland, offering a unique opportunity to contribute across diverse landscapes and flagship projects.

What You'll Do:
  • Deliver HVAC & critical building services from pre-tender to project completion
  • Assess and advise on service designs during tender stages
  • Collaborate with subcontractors, site managers, and consultants
  • Promote quality, safety, innovation, and Zero Harm principles
  • Program, schedule, and drive results proactively
  • Monitor QA, timelines, budgets, and subcontractor performance
  • Lead with passion, integrity, and boldness — we do things differently here
Who You Are:

You're a proactive problem-solver with:

  • Tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering (or similar)
  • Experience in large-scale commercial construction
  • Knowledge of HVAC, hydraulics, fire, and electrical systems
  • Ability to interpret and challenge drawings
  • Tech-savvy (Procore, MS Project, Microsoft Office)
  • Strong understanding of NZ standards, the Building Act, and CCA
  • Excellent communication, mentoring, and leadership skills
  • A collaborative mindset — One Team, One Dream
