Building Services & Compliance Technician – Maintain a Stunning 120-Acre Estate

We are working exclusively with our prestigious client to recruit a skilled Building Services & Compliance Technician.

This is a rare opportunity to work in a stunning 120-acre estate that includes housing, retail, and light industrial properties, 56 acres of playing fields, and 75 buildings – 23 of them Grade I–II listed.

You will join and Estates Team of 45 skilled professionals working across the Estate.

The Role – Building Services & Compliance Technician

In this role, you will:

•Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and compliance inspections on emergency lighting, fire alarms, smoke detectors, evacuation alarms, ventilation units, and water systems.

•Use a CAFM system to log and update jobs, complete minor remedial works, and escalate issues where needed.

•Support the wider maintenance team and contractors, ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with risk assessments.

About You

•Experience maintaining large or varied estates.

•Knowledge of CAFM systems (training can be provided).

•Organised, proactive, and detail-focused.

•Comfortable working with heritage and listed buildings.

•Strong communication skills and basic IT knowledge.
