Job summary

Ridge and Partners LLP is recruiting a Building Safety Consultant to deliver defined elements of Building Safety Act and Building Regulations services across a portfolio of projects, embedded within Ridge’s governance and assurance arrangements. The role can be based in London, Birmingham, Oxford, Leeds, Bristol, Manchester, Liverpool or Leeds offices.

You will support Building Regulations advisory services and the Building Regulations Principal Designer function, working with clients and design

Qualifications

• Solid grounding in the built environment and ability to operate in a live project setting.
• Experience with design information and multidisciplinary teams.
• Structured approach to tasks, information and priorities.
• Knowledge of Building Regulations and awareness of Building Safety Act.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality, accuracy and organization of outputs and alignment with project outcomes.
• Coordinate design inputs and support BRPD processes.
• Participate in client, design team and technical coordination meetings.
• Review design information to identify coordination gaps and compliance risks.
• Track decisions, actions and evidence for auditable records.
• Support gateway processes and preparation of submission information.
• Maintain organized, auditable project records.
• Collaborate with Ridge disciplines to improve internal processes.
