The role:
This an exciting new role within Winchester City Council’s housing team.
We are looking for an experienced, knowledgeable and enthusiastic individual to play a key role in managing the Building Safety function across high risk properties within WCC’s housing portfolio to ensure full and auditable compliance.
As Building Safety Manager, you will be responsible for the management of the Building Safety Work streams on blocks/ schemes assigned to you, and related projects including project planning, preparing project briefs and assisting with the management of the Building Safety programme. You will assist with the implementation of the council’s Building Safety strategy ensuring buildings and services meet the needs of the people who live & work in them.
