Job description

We are actively looking for a Building Safety Manager to join a housing association in Northamptonshire on a permanent basis. In return you will receive, hybrid working, 28 days annual leave plus bank holidays and local government pension scheme.

As the Building Safety Manager, you will be:

  • Responsible person for the day to day management of the building safety programme for the high-rise properties
  • Ensuring the properties are in line with the Building Safety Act and compliance regulations
  • Develop and maintain building safety cases and risk assessments for the high-rise buildings
  • Managing the building inspections programme and the remedial actions

Experience and qualifications:
  • Level 4 qualification in building safety, fire safety, or housing-related compliance
  • NEBOSH or IOSH or equivalent certification
  • Strong knowledge of the Building Safety Act 2022 and Fire Safety Order 2005
  • Managing building safety and fire risk across domestic properties
