Building Safety Engagement Manager




This is a national role, hybrid working 2 days office based anywhere in the UK per week with the occasional travel




Permanent, full time (37.5 hpw)




Earn circa £50,000 pa negotiable based on skills and experience plus brilliant benefits including health cash plan!

You’ll listen to their concerns, share important updates and make sure they feel informed, included and safe in their homes.







This is a new role with real freedom to shape how things are done. You’ll manage your own diary, get out and about in our neighbourhoods, and bring technical teams and customer voices together. You’ll turn complex safety updates into simple conversations, helping everyone understand what’s happening and why it matters. You’ll be at the heart of some of the most important work we do, making sure people aren’t just kept safe, they feel safe too.







What you’ll do




  • Meet customers and gather feedback that helps shape safer homes

  • Turn complex information into simple, clear updates everyone can understand

  • Plan and run events, meetings and walkabouts that feel human and purposeful

  • Work closely with technical teams to keep engagement honest and joined up

  • Take part in handovers of new homes, making sure safety records are spot on

  • Log all feedback and activity clearly so it feeds into the right decisions

What you bring




  • Experience in engagement, community work or similar people-first roles

  • Ability to explain tricky things in a simple, human way

  • A caring approach to feedback, including from harder-to-reach voices

  • Knowledge of building or fire safety, or a curiosity to learn

  • Strong record-keeping skills to help us meet legal safety duties

  • A team mindset with confidence to work across different departments

Job details




  • You’ll work Monday to Friday

  • You’ll manage your own diary, so if you want to take a longer lunch you can use your flexi time to manage that!

  • You will at times need to flex your working hours to meet with customers when it works best for them, so you may have occasional evening working.

  • This is a hybrid role and you’ll spend some days each week out and about or in our offices, and the rest working from home

  • To get from A to B, you’ll need a vehicle insured for business purposes. The great news is that we’ll pay your mileage!

  • You need an Enhanced DBS check done and we pay for that.
