Job description

We are recruiting on behalf of a North London-based property management company for a Building Safety Coordinator to oversee building safety matters for a portfolio of High-Rise Buildings (HRBs) in London. This is a key role requiring extensive experience in building safety and fire safety, as well as a strong understanding of the new Building Safety Regulator requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Regulatory Compliance – Ensure HRBs comply with the latest Building Safety Regulator standards.
  • Fire Safety Management – Oversee fire safety protocols and procedures, ensuring all necessary qualifications are met.
  • Building Safety Cases – Create, review, and update Building Safety Cases to maintain comprehensive safety documentation.
  • Golden Thread Documentation – Manage and maintain golden thread documents to ensure continuous and accurate safety records.
  • Stakeholder Liaison – Act as the primary contact for the Building Safety Regulator (BSR) and other authorities.
  • Coordination – Work closely with property managers, clients, and stakeholders to ensure effective communication.
  • Site Visits – Conduct regular site inspections to assess and monitor building safety conditions.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of the new Building Safety Regulator protocols and assessment gateways.

Location: North London (office-based with frequent site visits)
