You will be adaptable, proactive, and thrive in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift quickly. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in a critical area of housing safety.

You will be responsible for managing and responding to a variety of incoming enquiries related to both reactive and planned surveys, inspections, and remedial actions. You will oversee the day-to-day running of team mailboxes, ensuring all queries are handled promptly and with a high standard of customer service. Your administrative support will be key to the smooth operation of the Building Safety team, from scheduling meetings and coordinating operational activities to issuing internal and external communications.

Additionally, you will be responsible for raising work orders through our corporate systems, ensuring all procurement processes are followed, reviewing and reconciling invoices, resolving any payment discrepancies, and maintaining accurate financial records.

The role is based in our office at Farringdon and offers hybrid working arrangements of 2 days per week in the office and 3 days work from home. This is a Fixed Term Contract role until 21 September 2026.

Requirements
  • A strong background in administration, ideally within a housing or safety-related environment.
  • Confidence using IT tools to produce reports, documents, emails, and mail merges.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain solutions clearly and in a customer-friendly way—whether face-to-face, over the phone, or in writing.
  • A pragmatic and creative approach to problem-solving, with the ability to evaluate issues and identify effective solutions quickly.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a flexible and demanding workload to meet deadlines.

In your supporting statement, please address how you meet each of the above criteria with real examples.
