A significant housing provider in the UK is seeking a Building Safety Coordinator to support the delivery of building safety responsibilities. Responsibilities include managing enquiries, providing administrative support, and maintaining financial records. The role offers a hybrid work model with 2 days in-office and 3 days remote. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in administration and excellent communication skills.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Building Safety Coordinator to join our welcoming and collaborative Building Safety team. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting the delivery of our building and fire safety responsibilities. You will be adaptable, proactive, and thrive in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift quickly. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in a critical area of housing safety.
You will be responsible for managing and responding to a variety of incoming enquiries related to both reactive and planned surveys, inspections, and remedial actions. You will oversee the day-to-day running of team mailboxes, ensuring all queries are handled promptly and with a high standard of customer service. Your administrative support will be key to the smooth operation of the Building Safety team, from scheduling meetings and coordinating operational activities to issuing internal and external communications.
Additionally, you will be responsible for raising work orders through our corporate systems, ensuring all procurement processes are followed, reviewing and reconciling invoices, resolving any payment discrepancies, and maintaining accurate financial records.
The role is based in our office at Farringdon and offers hybrid working arrangements of 2 days per week in the office and 3 days work from home. This is a Fixed Term Contract role until 21 September 2026.
