A prestigious cultural institution is seeking a Building Project Manager for its Building and Facilities Department. The successful candidate will oversee maintenance and refurbishment projects for the Grade I listed estate while coordinating with various stakeholders. This role is essential to ensure the care and conservation of the Gallery, requiring on-site work five days a week.
The National Gallery has an exciting opportunity for a Building Project Manager to join the Building and Facilities Department working in the Building Fabric Projects and Maintenance team.
We are seeking a skilled and organised individual who will lead the delivery of day to day maintenance and refurbishment projects that support the repair and presentation of the Gallery’s Grade I listed estate.
This role involves coordinating works across departments, managing project budgets and timelines, and ensuring minimal disruption to day-to-day operations. You’ll liaise with consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders, and maintain accurate records, condition reports, and specialist documentation to uphold the safety and integrity of the building, staff, visitors, and the collection.

This role requires on-site working 5 days a week and reports to the Building Manager.
