A leading property management company seeks a Building Manager/Operations Manager for a flagship site in London. You’ll oversee operations, manage service charge budgets, ensure health and safety compliance, and enhance tenant experience through effective communication. My client, a notable Property Company/Managing Agent, is looking for a Building Manager/Operations Manager to oversee the operations of a 300,000 sq ft site. You will report to a General Manager and have an Assistant Building Manager reporting to you.
You should have previous experience managing a site of similar scale, with exposure to setting and managing service charge budgets and overseeing health and safety on site; IOSH or NEBOSH certifications are essential. Additionally, experience managing service partners, engaging with customers, and activating space, including organizing events for tenants, is required.
Engagement with end users (tenants) on a daily basis is crucial. Clear communication, whether written or verbal, is imperative to operate this flagship site effectively, especially in driving Net Zero/ESG initiatives.
The service delivery focus is on enhancing the tenant experience and fostering a 'one team ethos' with service partners, emphasizing a customer-centric approach.
