A leading development firm in London is seeking a Building Manager to oversee operations at a major site. The role demands experience in service charge budget management and health and safety oversight, with IOSH/NEBOSH certification essential. Effective communication with tenants is key to fostering a customer-centric environment. Opportunities for career development are available within the organization.
My client, a leading developer, is seeking a Building Manager to oversee the practical completion, mobilisations/commissioning, and operations of a site in excess of 130,000 sq ft in Central London - West End.
You will have previous experience in setting and managing service charge budgets, as well as overseeing health and safety on site; therefore, IOSH or NEBOSH certification is essential.
Additionally, ESG, NET Zero, WELL, and BREEAM standards will be a focus.
As well as managing service partners on site, you will be required to engage with end users (tenants) daily. Clear communication, both written and verbal, is crucial for effective site operation. There are ongoing project and tenant fit-out works over the next 18 months.
The service delivery level is highly focused on the tenant experience and partnering with service providers to foster a 'one team' ethos. Being customer-centric is vital. There are also opportunities to get involved in other developments, and the organization invests in employee career development.
