Base pay range

Building Manager – High-End Residential Development

Location: Putney (SW6), South West London

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

About the Role:

We’re looking for a proactive and personable Building Manager to take ownership of a prestigious 70-unit residential development in Putney. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about delivering outstanding resident experiences and maintaining a well-run, welcoming environment.

You’ll be the first point of contact for residents, staff, and contractors — building strong relationships, ensuring the smooth operation of the site, and helping create a place residents are proud to call home.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and support on-site staff, including rota coordination and training.

Oversee all fire safety procedures, building inspections, and maintenance schedules.

Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and building standards.

Coordinate and supervise contractors and third-party service providers.

Handle resident queries and complaints, resolving issues before escalation.

Maintain high standards across all communal areas and facilities.

Support the property manager with budgets, reporting, and building operations.

About You:

Previous experience as a residential Building Manager or similar.

Strong leadership skills and experience managing contractors and site teams.

Committed to delivering 5-star service to residents.

Excellent understanding of fire, health & safety, and building security.

Highly organised, professional, and discreet with confidential matters.

Proactive, solutions-driven, and able to take initiative independently.
