Building Maintenance Engineer

Location: Kingston-upon-Thames, KT1 2EE
Salary: £32,000 - £36,000 per annum.
Contract: Full time, Permanent
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm with overtime opportunities available. On call, 1 week in every 6-8 weeks £300, extra for call outs.

Kingston University Services Company (KUSCO) provides a comprehensive repair and maintenance service for systems, plant, and equipment. The role requires a proactive approach to maintenance and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems and equipment.
2. Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner.
3. Maintain accurate records of work performed.
4. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
5. Assist with emergency repairs as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Proven experience in building maintenance or a related field.
2. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
3. Ability to work flexible hours and be on call as required.
4. Relevant certifications or qualifications in building maintenance or engineering.
