Job description

Your new company
You will be working for a leading FM company working on-site at their commercial partner.


Your new role
Hands-on working fabric technician with a good understanding of general building services and estate management.


Duties will include:

  1. Building furniture
  2. Moving furniture
  3. Carry out all moves and changes that the client requires
  4. Undertake a full range of general maintenance tasks, not limited to minor plumbing, carpentry, painting, tiling, ensuring service levels are met and maintaining the fabric of the building at a high standard
  5. Ensure that Method Statements and Risk Assessments are prepared prior to any works starting
  6. To undertake lone working when and where required
  7. To develop a good working relationship with all members of the team, subcontractors, and client's staff
  8. Ensure the provision of a safe & healthy working environment is met, including the wearing of uniform and appropriate PPE always
  9. Ensure all storage areas are maintained and kept safe and tidy
  10. Escort visiting subcontractors around site to ensure safe execution of service-related tasks, and ensure RAMS are reviewed and approved prior to works starting
  11. Undertake other tasks directed by the account management team
  12. PA testing

What you'll need to succeed:

  5. Calm manner, able to work under pressure and make sound decisions when needed
  6. Physically fit and able to carry tools and components by hand up to 20kg
  7. Able to work at heights
  8. Obtain full Security Clearance

What you'll get in return:
£18.15 per hour Umbrella - 2 year contract
