Job description

Building Engineer needed in Haverigg, Paying £12.99ph - Reference: 447347

Monday - Friday 8am-5pm and Friday 8am-4pm

  1. Customer liaison – Be the day-to-day contact for site-based staff at customer premises. Check understanding of task status, identify problems, and opportunities for further work. Ensure that other staff/contractors under Amey control operate correctly.
  2. Reactive response – Serve as the first point of response for reactive calls. Tasks may be outside the engineer's skill set but they will coordinate with other resources as needed.
  3. On-site resource – For large premises, the engineer may be based on-site, with travel to other sites as required.
  4. Routine PPMs – Perform routine planned preventative maintenance tasks within your competency and workload.
  5. Asset verification – Keep asset listings up-to-date, report inconsistencies or changes to the Service Delivery Centre.
  6. Logbooks – Ensure site logbooks are current and correctly completed by service providers.
  7. Dilapidation reports – Identify additional works and assess plant condition for asset management.
  8. Lifecycle management – Monitor asset condition and maintenance approaches on-site.

This is a full-time role on a temporary contract basis.
