Job summary

An established industry player is seeking a dedicated building custodian to ensure the safe and efficient operation of Corporate buildings and Schools. In this role, you will be responsible for general maintenance tasks and will work under the guidance of Facilities Managers. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills and be motivated to deliver excellent services. Flexibility is key, as you will work both indoors and outdoors, either independently or as part of a team. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the smooth operation of essential facilities while ensuring a safe environment for all.

About the role:

As a building custodian you will work under the direction of the Asst Facilities Managers and Facilities Officers to provide a wide range of services including general maintenance within Corporate buildings and School to ensure their safe and efficient operation.

About you:

You will be motivated to deliver services and be flexible in your outlook and be prepared to work both inside and outdoors. You will be required to work both as a team and also on your own.

You will take personal responsibility for all your tasks using strong customer service skills.

You must have a current driving licence and ideally own transport.

Please be aware that this post is subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and that you will be required to meet the cost of the DBS check currently £49.50. The payment for this will be deducted from your first four months’ salary payments at a rate of £12.38 per month. If you do not commence employment for any reason but the DBS has been processed, you will be sent an invoice for the payment of £49.50.
