Salary: £42,700 – £47,156 per annum, with a market supplement of £8,000 per annum (reviewed after 12 months)

Would you like to become an integral part of our successful Building Control team?

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced or newly qualified Building Control professional to join our supportive, modern, customer-focused team, ensuring buildings are compliant and residents and visitors are safe.

You will join our proactive team involved in exciting developments, including large housing and commercial projects across the borough.

You will manage a broad range of building control projects to effective completion and help grow our business by establishing relationships with architects, developers, and other clients.

Brentwood is a thriving borough with 75,000 residents, featuring busy high streets, picturesque villages, parks, excellent schools, and cultural events. Its location offers easy access to London and the East of England, with airports like Stansted, Southend, and London City just 30 minutes away.

Salary: £42,700 - £47,156 per annum, Grade H (SCP 37 - 41), with a market supplement of £8,000 (reviewed after 12 months)

Requirements:

  • Substantial relevant experience in a similar role
  • Membership of an appropriate body such as RICS, CABE, or CIOB
  • Good customer service skills to establish and maintain business relationships
  • Registered building inspector with the Building Safety Regulator, minimum class 2 category A
