Role: Building Control Surveyor
Rate: £600 - £650 pd (DOE)
Duration: 6-months, possible extension
Location: SE London - The role involves hybrid working, mainly site inspections and remote work, with occasional office days.

Job Description:

Manage building proposals, ensuring timely decisions as per legislation.
Oversee and inspect on-site work under relevant building acts and advise on entertainment licensing and repair/improvement grants.
Verify fees meet Charges Regulations criteria.
Review and approve 'initial' and 'final' notices from inspectors.
Maintain detailed site inspection records.

Requirements:

Minimum 3H RBI with 6+ years in building control on high-rise/complex buildings.
Associate membership of CABE, CIOB, RICS, or equivalent essential.
