Job description

Our client is a local authority on the South Coast of England. They are seeking a Class 2 Registered Building Control Officer to carry out a full range of duties including site visits across the district.

They are happy to consider applicants who only wish to work part time hours or the role can be offered as a full time post.

You will be responsible for Assessing Building Regulation application construction plans for compliance with the Building Regulations 2010 and associated legislation deciding whether to approve or reject, including examination of initial notices.

The contract will last at least 3-6 months but given workload it has potential to run throughout the 2025-26 year.

The rate is £56/he (inside IR35).

You will need access to a car for business purposes.
