Job summary

Sellick Partnership is recruiting a Building Control Lead for a temporary role in Northamptonshire, starting ASAP. The position offers up to £75 hourly and involves leading a multi-disciplinary Building Control service to safeguard public safety and building compliance.

You will provide expert advice on Building Control, Building Regulations and Building Safety, lead the rollout of the Building Safety Levy, ensure compliance with Building Safety Regulator requirements, and drive service

Qualifications

• Fully qualified Building Inspector registered with a body such as CABE, RICS, CIOB, ICE or IStructE.
• Relevant Building Control experience.
• Strong experience of leading teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a multi-disciplinary Building Control service.
• Provide expert advice on Building Control, Building Regulations and Building Safety matters.
• Lead the implementation of the Building Safety Levy.
• Ensure compliance with Building Safety Regulator requirements and quality assurance standards.
• Develop and implement strategies to increase service market share and income generation.
• Drive continuous improvement, innovation and service transformation.
• Manage budgets, performance, governance, risk and stakeholder relationships.
• Lead and develop Building Control Surveying, Technical and Business Support teams.
