About The Role

We are a national supported housing provider, geographically dispersed across England, seeking a Compliance Officer who is highly organized with an exceptional eye for detail. This role involves driving continuous improvement and embodying the ethos of #OneTeam.

The Building Compliance Officer will work in an environment that provides comprehensive, quality housing services, support, and resettlement for individuals who have recently experienced homelessness and are in need of support and accommodation.

This position will operate within the Health and Safety Compliance team, managing contractual arrangements related to service delivery and maintaining technical documentation associated with landlord and corporate health and safety management.

What you will be doing:
  1. Ensure effective and accurate data entry, control, management, and reporting within Asset Management systems.
  2. Support the Senior Compliance Officer in developing administrative procedures and system improvements.
  3. Liaise with external agencies, contractors, consultants, and suppliers to gather data and documents, handle inquiries, and provide information as needed.
  4. Administer service programs and coordinate with subcontractors to ensure all certifications and works comply with service level agreements.

Proven knowledge and experience with building compliance in the housing sector are essential.

This role is hybrid, based at our Bolton Office, with remote work options. Travel will be required for visits and meetings.

About You

You will be a confident communicator with strong verbal and written skills, capable of engaging successfully with a variety of stakeholders. Additionally, you should be:

  • Proactive and self-motivated with a can-do attitude.
  • Qualified in Health and Safety compliance, preferably with an EAL Level 2 in Asset and Building Compliance Awareness (ABMC2).
  • Possessing general administration qualifications or relevant experience in building compliance administration and data processing.
  • Highly organized, efficient, able to multitask, prioritize, meet deadlines, and with an excellent eye for detail.
