About the Role

As the Building and Technical Services Manager, you will ensure campus facilities and technical services are maintained to high standards, providing a safe and welcoming environment. You will lead a team to enhance the student experience through effective management of premises, equipment, and health and safety standards.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a Campus Estates Strategy, managing Opex and Capex projects.
  • Lead and manage the Building and Technical Services team.
  • Oversee setup, maintenance, and safety of campus buildings and equipment.
  • Ensure accessibility and collaborate with departments to meet needs.
  • Manage Health and Safety compliance and policies.
  • Oversee building security and liaise with external contractors.
  • Manage preventative maintenance schedules.
  • Provide technical support for events and maintain internal systems.
Qualifications
  • Experience managing premises and technical services, preferably in higher education.
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation; NEBOSH qualification is a plus.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Highly organized with multitasking abilities.
  • Flexible and adaptable to campus needs.
