Job Description

You will be joining a large trades team working out of a yard in Dalkeith. Due to a new contract being awarded, they are looking to increase their staffing. They are one of the largest employers in the Edinburgh area and can offer a long-term contract to the right individual.

Your New Role

You will undertake a variety of building roles alongside another staff member, primarily working on the external fabric of domestic properties. This includes roof repairs, gutter installation or repair, insulation installation, and other general building repairs as directed by the client or contract manager.

What You'll Need to Succeed

You should demonstrate experience in a similar building role, preferably with some roofing repair experience. Since this position does not require a complete strip and re-slate, you do not need to be a fully qualified roofer, but this would be advantageous. A valid UK driving license is required, as access to a company van will be provided during working hours.

What You'll Get in Return

You will be offered a long-term contract, paid weekly via PAYE through Hays, with the option to accrue annual leave. You will receive regular updates from your Hays consultant.
