About The Role

As a Build-up/ Breakdown Operative, you will be responsible for cleaning the gangways within the Exhibition Halls at the National Exhibition Centre. Your duties include removing debris from stand building materials and rubbish from customers' products, ensuring client satisfaction and service standards are met.

Main Duties

  • Loading waste, de-lapsing floors, cleaning outdoor channels, sweeping and mopping edges, and operating machinery.
  • Removing foreign objects such as nails, screws, bolts, cable clips, and tape backing from floors using appropriate methods and equipment.
  • Leaving Exhibition Halls clean and ready for the next event.
  • Sweeping rubbish into piles, assisting tractor drivers with waste loading into euro bins.
  • Starting work in designated Exhibition Halls as assigned by the Supervisor.
  • Wearing correct PPE at all times.
  • Promptly removing rubbish from halls to the Waste Pre-Treatment Centre, emptying euro bins, and returning them.
  • Transporting euro bins to the WPTC area at the end of each shift, ensuring none are left full in the halls.

Requirements

EU work permit is required.
