Build Planner

Staffordshire

Pay Rate - Competitive

Contract - Outside IR35

E-ppl are currently recruiting for a Build Planner to support our customer based in Staffordshire. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the development and delivery of build planning operations, capacity planning, and resource coordination across various programmes.

As a Build Planner, you'll thrive in a fast-paced environment and be responsible for managing multiple priorities. Your role will involve close collaboration with a wide range of internal stakeholders across departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and manage schedules for EDU builds across various programmes
  • Maintain the build readiness tracker to monitor kit status
  • Investigate part shortages and escalate risks when necessary
  • Collaborate with Build Operations, Programme, Supply Chain, Stores, and PPL teams
  • Represent the department in cross-functional meetings, providing updates and insights
  • Track rework activities and manage kit matrices via Wrike
  • Assist with KPI development and continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

  • Strong IT and data analysis skills - can you turn raw data into actionable plans?
  • Understanding of GPIRS, SAP, or similar systems
  • Excellent communication and organisational abilities
  • Experience in planning or parts coordination environments
  • Confidence in stakeholder management

Qualifications:

  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
  • Familiarity with planning tools (e.g. Microsoft Project, Oracle P6, or Wrike)
  • Knowledge of BI tools and dashboard creation
