About You:
This role would suit a Sports Tutor with experience working with young people or someone eager to share their knowledge to support learners in achieving their goals.
Ideally, you possess teaching and assessing qualifications and have a background in sport. You should be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of purpose and a passion for teaching and training. Initiative and meeting deadlines are essential.

You will be able to:

  • Plan and deliver diverse and innovative teaching, learning, and assessment opportunities to achieve high standards.
  • Ensure programmes incorporate the latest developments in subjects, evaluating their impact on learner progress, and make appropriate use of ICT.
  • Provide pastoral and tutorial support within the organisation's framework to support individual learner progress and achievement.

You will also have:
PGCE/Certificate in Education or Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training.
Relevant vocational qualifications.

About the Role:
We are seeking a part-time Study Programme BTEC Sports Tutor to join our Oldham team. This position is on a part-time, term-time basis, working 24 hours per week for 39 weeks per year, based at one of our football partner sites in Oldham.

The successful candidate will join our team delivering and assessing the BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Sports Coaching and Development. You will manage and deliver diverse learning opportunities, guiding learners from initial assessment to successful course completion and accreditation.

Our Tutors deliver practical learning opportunities that develop employability and social skills, enabling learners to achieve various qualifications, including English and maths up to GCSE level.
