Job summary

TimePlan Education is recruiting an experienced British Sign Language Tutor for a specialist primary school in Barnet, starting in September. The role focuses on delivering BSL tuition and supporting language development for deaf and hearing-impaired children within an inclusive school setting.

The ideal candidate will hold a recognised BSL qualification (Level 2-4+), demonstrate strong BSL communication skills, and bring experience in education or SEND environments.

Qualifications

BSL Tutor (British Sign Language Tutor) - SEND School Setting | September Start

We are currently recruiting for an experienced British Sign Language (BSL) Tutor to join a specialist primary school in Barnet from September.

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled BSL practitioner who is passionate about supporting communication and language development for deaf and hearing-impaired children.

The Role
  • Deliver high-quality British Sign Language tuition and support.
  • Promote effective communication across the school environment.
  • Support pupils in developing confidence and independence through BSL.
  • Work closely with teaching staff and specialist professionals.
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements
