New Directions are currently looking for a teaching assistant to work every morning 8:30am – 12pm in a school in the Swansea area. This position is to support a hearing-impaired pupil in the nursery class. To support the pupil, you must be able to communicate using British Sign Language (BSL) confidently.

For this role you will need to:

• Have a relevant, child related qualification OR relevant experience.
• Be registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC)
• Hold a current DBS certificate on the update service OR be prepared to apply for a new certificate.
