As a Bi-Borough Brokerage Team Manager, you will lead a frontline team supporting Westminster and the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. Your responsibilities include facilitating timely, person-centred support packages, ensuring value for money, managing risks, and compliance with relevant legislation.
You will collaborate with social care teams, providers, and partners to ensure needs are at the heart of support planning. You will supervise sourcing of provision, manage risks, and lead performance and development initiatives within your team.
Your duties also involve managing data flows, generating reports, supporting a frontline advice line, sharing intelligence for decision-making, and ensuring accurate financial processes.
You will champion a safe, inclusive, and responsive working environment, upholding policies on health and safety, data protection, and equality. Building effective relationships across departments and agencies is essential.
Significant experience in Adult Social Care, managing multidisciplinary teams, and a thorough understanding of Home Care, Residential, and Nursing services is required. Knowledge of legislative frameworks like the Care Act 2014 and the Health and Care Act 2022 is essential.
You should have strong stakeholder management, negotiation skills, and IT literacy to analyze data and generate reports. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are crucial.
