Northern Trust in the United Kingdom is seeking an Operations professional to join our Agency Brokerage business, providing post-trade support to Sales and Trading teams and servicing institutional clients. The role sits on the Trading Floor within Global Capital Markets and involves post-trade lifecycle activities from trade allocation through to settlement across global markets.

We are looking for an Operations professional to join our Agency Brokerage business, providing operational trade support to our Sales and Trading teams and servicing a panel of institutional clients.

The role sits within Global Capital Markets and is based on the Trading Floor, working as part of a dynamic, client-facing team.

The position focuses on the post-trade lifecycle, supporting activity from trade allocation through to pre-matching and settlement across global markets. The successful candidate will work across a range of asset types and support the associated reconciliation, exception management and operational control activities.

This is a hands‑on operational role suited to someone with experience in capital markets, brokerage operations, trade support or a related environment, who is comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment with multiple stakeholders and time‑sensitive transactions.
