Job summary

4Recruitment Services Ltd is recruiting a Brokerage Officer to source and secure high-quality placements for children and young people. The role requires direct brokerage experience and strong knowledge of children's social care, SEND, and supported accommodation.

The post is hybrid, with minimum two office days per month in Oxfordshire. You will work with social workers, families and providers to negotiate placements, manage complex caseloads and ensure safeguarding compliance.

Qualifications

• Direct Children's Brokerage experience is essential.
• Experience sourcing or managing children's placements.
• Strong understanding of Children's Social Care.
• Knowledge of SEND and Supported Accommodation.
• Strong negotiation, communication and relationship-management skills.
• Experience working with social workers, families and external providers.
• Ability to manage complex caseloads and meet deadlines.
• Good IT skills, particularly Excel, Teams and SharePoint.
• Experience with placement/commissioning systems such as CONTROCC is desirable.
• Strong problem-solving skills and commercial awareness.

Grade: G9 | Full Time
