Job summary

Aon is seeking a Broker – GBC Cyber (APAC) to join the Cyber Broking team in London. You will place large, complex APAC clients into the London Market, using cyber product knowledge and broking/underwriting experience, while managing workload within a defined process.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, build market relationships, and represent Aon with integrity and professionalism. This hybrid role is based in the Global Broking Centre, London.

• Excellent technical insurance knowledge, including policy wordings – preferably Cyber.
• Experience in broking/underwriting.
• Ability to utilise insurance industry IT systems to efficiently deliver client service.
• Experience of managing effective client relationships.

• Review of insurance contracts and issuing them to clients and insurers.
• Sign insurance contracts with insurers via electronic placing platforms.
• Provide the highest level of service and technical expertise to clients.
• Prepare market presentations and broker submissions to broker client’s enquiries to insurers.
• Hosting clients when they visit markets in London.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with insurance Market and Underwriters.
• Represent Aon, demonstrating an understanding of corporate objectives.

Broker – GBC Cyber (APAC)

We are looking for a suitable candidate to join our Cyber Broking team focussed on placing large and complex clients from the Asia Pacific region into the London Market. This role will require Cyber product experience and a background in broking / underwriting.

The candidate should have good communication / negotiation skills, and appropriate market relationships.

They should be able to work well in a team and be able to self-manage their workload, in accordance with a well-defined process. They should be familiar with the documentation and systems involved in placing open market business in the London market.

This is a hybrid role, based in city of London within our Global Broking Centre
