Aston Charles Ltd is partnering with a world-leading insurer to recruit a Development Underwriter. The role focuses on sourcing new business opportunities in the Care Insurance market and developing broker relationships.

Training will be provided for sector specifics, while prior underwriting in commercial insurance and a proven track record of winning new business are essential. You’ll engage with brokers, colleagues, and the Development Director to secure profitable relationships.

Qualifications

• Underwriting experience in commercial insurance.
• Track record in developing new business with brokers.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite individual risks within care/ commercial lines.
• Identify and secure scheme opportunities.
• Attend networking events to build broker relationships.
• Provide input to Head of Care and report on broker activity.
