The Role: Broker Assistant based in London offices

Purpose of the Position

To support the Broking Team in the placement of new and renewal business, enhancing the performance of Lloyd’s operations.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing materials for presentation to Underwriters and Clients.
  • Support in building, developing, and managing existing business relationships.
  • Assist with the binding authority placement process by maintaining checklists, business plans, market sheets, and TCF forms, and clearing temp table transactions.
  • Contribute to statistical and data analysis related to Lloyd’s contract performance, including distribution to Underwriters.
  • Help improve MRS-NA data and reporting capabilities with the IT team.
  • Liaise with other departments to resolve queries.
  • Support the Broking team in achieving departmental goals.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.

Additional Information

  • This is a permanent position.
  • Salary will depend on skills and experience.
  • 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, increasing with service.
