As Solutions Architect (Sales Engineer), you will manage presales and consultancy tasks in coordination with the Sales teams, draft system design and BOMs/quotations, and provide technical support to complete Sales proposals.
The Consultancy Team proposes technical solutions that accurately address customer needs and are supported by key customer technical decision-makers. They should also provide market feedback to the Market & Solutions Team based on on-the-ground experience as a customer-facing expert.
Responsibilities:
- Manage Pre-sales tasks in coordination with the Sales teams.
- Participate in external and internal customer-facing events, including trade shows and panels.
- Maintain up-to-date information in Key Account Plans.
- Organize and carry out product demonstrations remotely or on customer premises, including POCs.
- Work with customers to define system architecture.
- Develop and enhance solutions based on customer requirements.
- Draft system designs and BOMs/quotations; support the completion of Sales proposals.
- Create responses to RFx requests, including technical documentation and drawings.
- Plan project phases in conjunction with PMO and manage hand-over to Support teams post-sale.
- Gather competitive intelligence and EVS user case information.
- Provide market trend feedback to the Markets & Solutions team.
- Build, maintain, and operate demo systems and setups.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 7 years of experience in the Broadcast industry.
- Experience in Live Production as an EiC is a significant asset.
Technical Skills:
- Strong background in Live Broadcast Production and Media infrastructure, including AV Real Time Network, Broadcast Controller, and Live AV Signal Processing.
- Experience with Live Server and Media Asset Management systems is an asset.
- Proven leadership and excellent communication skills, capable of discussing business requirements and presenting solutions to customers and internal teams.
- Proficiency in CRM, Visio, Office 365.
