Job Description

Your Role: Broadcast Journalist (London)

Global’s Newsroom in London needs a journalist with a fantastic broadcast voice and exceptional writing skills to be part of our team. The successful candidate should have extensive broadcast journalism experience in a radio newsroom, including writing and reading news bulletins, selecting and pushing key news from guest interviews, and audio editing. A solid understanding of media law is also required.

As a Broadcast Journalist at Global, you will:

Key Responsibilities

  • Write and read news bulletins for LBC – Britain’s biggest commercial news talk brand.
  • Curate original content for our rolling news station LBC News, alongside bulletins for major UK radio brands like Heart, Capital, and Smooth.
