Brit European Group is urgently seeking a Class 1 Tramper Driver for a permanent role based in Scunthorpe. You will transport machinery and vehicles across the UK using modern tractor units and specialist equipment, with full training provided and opportunities to progress within a leading specialist transport operation.

The role offers Monday to Friday work with nights out, real earnings potential, and a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) Licence.
• Driver CPC Qualification.
• Digital Tachograph Card.
• Low Loader experience advantageous but not essential.
• No more than 6 licence points.
• No DD, DR or IN endorsements.
• Good level of fitness.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out vehicle checks and ensuring compliance standards are met.
• Loading, securing and delivering equipment safely.
• Representing Brit European and its customers professionally on customer sites.
• Maintaining excellent safety standards at all times.

Brit European are recruiting HGV Class 1 Tramper Drivers to work on behalf of JCB and other major manufactures, transporting machinery and commercial vehicles across the UK.

The Role

As part of the Brit European team, you will transport machinery and commercial vehicles throughout the UK using modern tractor units and specialist low-loader/transporter equipment.

We provide full training and support to help you develop your skills within one of the UK’s leading specialist transport operations.

Your Responsibilities

• Carrying out vehicle checks and ensuring compliance standards are met
• Loading, securing and delivering equipment safely
• Representing Brit European and it’s customers professionally on customer sites
• Maintaining excellent safety standards at all times

Shift Pattern

• Monday to Friday
• Up to 4 nights out per week
• Weekend overtime available at enhanced rates
• Permanent, year-round work
