HGV Class One European Driver – Tramping - Minimum 2 Years Experience Required – Middlewich

Perm OTE: Up to £54,000*

*Applicants will NOT BE ACCEPTED without European HGV driving experience*

Applicants with Left-hand drive experience beneficial however not essential as Right-hand drive is also available.

Brit European has vacancies for an HGV Class One driver involved in tramping, based in Middlewich. This role involves driving low loader and step-frame trailers.

Please note this role is physically and mentally demanding, involving work at height, manual handling, working outdoors in all weather, and precise maneuvering.

Your Shift:

• This is a Monday to Friday European tramping role with frequent overnight stays, including weekends occasionally.

Your Role:

• Transporting agricultural and plant machinery across the EU and UK using specialized trailers and tractor units.
• Loading and securing products.
• Completing inspection, customs, and delivery paperwork.
• Driving both right and left-hand drive HGVs.
• Providing company uniform and on-site facilities.
• Engaging in various tasks.
• 20 days holiday plus bank holidays, increasing annually.

Requirements:

• HGV Class One license.
• At least 2 years of experience in HGV driving.
• Experience in transporting agricultural/plant machinery.
• Knowledge of UK-EU customs procedures, paperwork, and border security.
• Experience with convoi exceptionnel.
• Valid CPC and Digi Tacho.
• No more than 6 points on license; no IN, DD, or DR penalty codes.
• Good physical fitness, as the job is physically demanding and involves working at height.
