Job summary

Computerworld Personnel Ltd. in Bristol is seeking a Workshop Technician to join a bespoke manufacturer. The role offers varied daily tasks, with potential long-term progression in a high-quality production environment.

The position is a 3-month fixed-term contract with an immediate start, 37.5 hours/week (Mon-Fri). You will operate lathes, milling machines, drilling equipment and assist with tooling, welding, and paperwork while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to use lathes, milling machines, and drilling equipment.
• Competent with powered hand tools, general hand tools, and welding equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and quality-focused approach.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Basic IT skills and experience completing production documentation.

Responsibilities

• Complete batch work and one-off manufacturing jobs.
• Support deliveries, collections, and general driving duties.
• Coach and mentor colleagues where required.
• Complete production paperwork accurately and on time.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
