Job summary

Omega Resource Group is seeking a skilled Manual Machinist/Turner for a Bristol-based, full-time permanent role. You will operate and set up manual centre lathes to produce high-quality components, read drawings, and perform precision inspection while maintaining equipment and adhering to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Time-served Turner or Toolmaker with manual machining experience.
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
• Skilled in precision measurement and inspection.
• Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling and materials.
• Commitment to safety and high workmanship standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate and set up manual centre lathes to produce components.
• Perform turning, milling and fitting to tight tolerances.
• Read and interpret technical drawings accurately.
• Measure finished parts to ensure quality standards.
