Job summary

Galliford Try is seeking a Building Services Manager based in Bristol. In this role, you will manage the design and installation of mechanical and electrical services, ensuring all health and safety standards are met. The successful candidate will have a qualification in Building Services, experience with main contractors, and a strong knowledge of health and safety regulations. Qualifications

• Previous experience of working with a Main Contractor in a Building Services role would be an advantage.
• Full working knowledge of aspects and law, including the Health and Safety at Work etc Act 1974 and CDM 2015.
• Basic sub‑contract processes – contract and commercial.
• Basic appreciation and use knowledge of project management – programming, cash flow analysis, resource planning etc.

Responsibilities

• Manage the production of outsourced design and direct the design and installation of services.
• Manage the Mechanical and Electrical Services Consultants and Sub Contractors.
• Be responsible for attaining the highest H&S standards on site.
• Develop a 'Best Quality' culture with sub-contractors.
• Ensure all sub-contractors carry out their construction work in compliance with the Drawings and Specifications.

Education

Qualification in a recognised Building Services Subject to HNC / Degree Level
