Job summary

KDC is seeking a Stress Signatory to join our Bristol-based engineering team. The successful candidate will support fixed price work packages and act as an approval signatory or checker with extensive experience in signatory duties.

You will liaise with customers to understand requirements, define analysis scope, identify risks, and approve deliverables for metallic and composite aircraft structures, ensuring compliance with aerospace standards.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in aerospace or high integrity analysis roles.
• Senior-level stress engineering in aerospace with hands-on methods.
• Proven signatory responsibility for technical deliverables.
• Experience analyzing metallic and composite aircraft structures.
• Strong knowledge of aerospace standards and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with customers to understand requirements.
• Support static analysis scoping and work breakdown structures for fixed-price work.
• Identify risks and assumptions against the scope.
• Interact with internal analysis team and customer contacts to progress tasking.
• Check/approve static analysis deliverables to budgets and timescales.
• Perform analysis and documentation as required.
• Coordinate with design/systems teams for integration.
