Autograph Specialist Recruitment is advertising for an Accounts Assistant in the South West. The role is full-time and office-based, with study support available and a friendly, expanding practice environment that serves sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.

You will prepare year-end accounts, assist with personal tax returns, manage bookkeeping and VAT, and liaise with clients to support their accounting needs as part of a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• 2+ years UK accountancy practice experience
• Solid foundation in accounts preparation and bookkeeping
• Comfortable communicating with clients and supporting them professionally
• A team player who enjoys collaborating with colleagues in a office-based setting

Responsibilities

• Preparation of year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
• Assisting with basic personal tax returns
• Bookkeeping and preparation of VAT returns
• Regular liaison with clients to support their accounting needs
