Position: Bartender

The Bartender is responsible for the preparation and service of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and menu items to guests, courteously and efficiently, in accordance with company standards. This includes maintaining the bar area equipment, opening and closing checklists, and ensuring a welcoming environment.

Requirements:

  • Ensure high standards of guest service, creating a positive lasting impression to encourage repeat business.
  • Create a lively, engaging environment for guests and staff.
  • Communicate effectively with management and guests, fostering respect and openness.
  • Demonstrate sound decision-making to benefit guests and the operation.
  • Meet the minimum age requirement for serving alcohol.
  • Provide prompt, friendly service following company guidelines.
  • Identify and handle potentially intoxicated guests per company policies.
  • Maintain knowledge of all menu items, liquor brands, garnishes, glassware, and bar setup.
  • Comply with all alcohol regulations, including service to minors and intoxicated guests.
  • Properly document accidents and incidents.
  • Greet guests, take orders, and suggest upselling opportunities.
  • Process payments accurately and securely.
