Job description

Be Our Coffee Connoisseur! The newly designed, Club Quarters Hotel St Pauls’, is looking for an enthusiastic and talented Barista to join our vibrant team.
As a barista, you will be crafting beverage creations while providing exceptional service and essentially contributing to the overall vibe of our hotel.

Responsibilities • Brew Magic - Prepare and serve a variety of high-quality Origin coffee beverages using our state-of-the art equipment. • Coffee Connoisseur - Be knowledgeable about the coffee selections, sources, brewing methods. Recommend drinks based on the guest preferences. Stay updated on coffee industry trends and techniques continuously improving skills. • Service with a Warm Smile - Greet guests warmly, take orders accurately and ensure an efficient and positive experience for all.
• Beyond the Bean – Be a master at recommending and serving our curated selection of teas, wine, beer and soft drinks. Serve daily pastries, fresh local lite bites and restaurant specialties, with a smile while sharing your favorite recommendations.
• Keep it Flowing - Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the coffee bar, brewing stations, and back areas. Restock supplies, monitor inventory levels and perform basic cleaning tasks. Adhere to health and safety guidelines. • Team Player – Collaborate effectively with all team members to ensure smooth operations and provide an exceptional guest experience at all times. Responsible to the Senior Guest Experience Manager. Qualifications • Prior experience as a barista or a similar guest-facing role preferred. Comprehensive training is provided to ensure your success as a valued member of our team. • Knowledge and understanding of coffee brewing methods and espresso drinks with the ability to operate coffee-making equipment. • A positive attitude and passion for customer service and creating a welcoming guest experience.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order taking, preparation and serving.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills served with a friendly, outgoing personality. • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. • Punctuality and reliability in meeting scheduled work hours.
