RBH Hospitality Management in Edinburgh is seeking a Breakfast Assistant to join our busy morning team. You will greet guests, set up the breakfast area, restock items and ensure a warm, welcoming start to each day.

The role focuses on service excellence, teamwork with the kitchen and front-of-house, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene during breakfast service. Previous hospitality experience is a plus, but a positive attitude and reliability are valued above all.

Qualifications

• Friendly, approachable attitude to create a welcoming breakfast experience.
• Strong attention to detail to keep the breakfast area clean and appealing.
• Prior hospitality or food service experience is a plus but not required.
• Excellent time management for setup, service and cleanup.
• Team-oriented mindset to cooperate with kitchen and front-of-house teams.
• Flexible and reliable with early morning shifts.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a warm smile at breakfast.
• Set up the breakfast buffet and dining area for a fresh presentation.
• Prepare and replenish breakfast items, keeping everything stocked.
• Serve tea, coffee, and breakfast orders with attentiveness.
• Clear tables efficiently and reset them for the next guests.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in breakfast areas from buffet to tables.
• Assist with basic kitchen prep and support the kitchen team as needed.
• Provide local knowledge and recommendations to help guests enjoy their day.
